Our outstanding staff are professionally certified members of USA Gymnastics.
They are Nationally Safety Certified through USA Gymnastics, First Aid and CPR Certified through the American Red Cross.

Susan Rennie - Director
Susan has been with The Academy for 29 years. She is a USA Gymnastics professional member, CPR certified, First aid certified, Kinder Accreditation Teacher and safety certified through USA Gymnastics. Susan coached the Sharon High School Gymnastics team from 1999-2005. She was the Gymnastics Camp director for Camp West Woods from 1986-1999 and is now the Camp West Woods L.T.P. Coordinator. Susan currently coaches preschool and recreational classes and team levels 2-9. Susan’s proudest moment was when she coached her first student to the AAU National Team and also when she worked the Olympic Trials in Boston in 1996. Her favorite moment of all time was when her daughter (team gymnast at The Academy) won 1st place on balance beam and 2nd place all around at the Level 4 State Championship in 2009.

Dyann Zenga - Team Director/Office Manager
Dyann started off as a gymnast at the Academy of Gymnastics at the age of five. She continued to compete for another thirteen years with the Academy. Dyann competed on two AAU Junior Olympic National teams; one in New Orleans, LA and the other in Cleveland, Ohio. She also was three time state individual champion on beam and floor. After graduating from Canton High School in 2002, Dyann continued her education at Springfield College where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation and Disability. Dyann is currently the Office Manager and Girls Team Director. She is a USA Gymnastics professional member, CPR certified, First aid certified and safety certified through USA Gymnastics.
In Dyann's free time she enjoys spending time with loved ones, yoga, sports, going to the beach, any outdoor activities and traveling!
David Cook - Gymnastics Teacher All Ages
David started out at The Academy as a competitive gymnast 1980 where he was a competitor at the National Level until 1987. David is a USA Gymnastics professional member, CPR certified, First aid certified and safety certified through USA Gymnastics. In 1993, he became the Boys Team Head Coach where he taught boys programs from recreational to nationally competitive teams. David currently teaches preschool classes, boys and girls recreational and advanced classes.
He also teaches physical education at Striar Hebrew Academy of Sharon.
In Dave’s spare time he enjoys fishing, golfing and traveling to the Caribbean Islands.
